BSc. Nursing Course with annual intake of 40 students

  1. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
  2. The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of:
    • 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 50% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
  3. Candidate shall be medically fit.
  4. Selection of the candidates should be based on the merit of the entrance Examination held by University or competent authority.
  5. Duration of the course shall be four years including internship.

GNM Programme

GNM programme is meant to prepare general nurses who can efficiently perform as members of the health team and capable of dealing the competencies in both the hospitals and other such organizations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
  • Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively. For ANM/ LHV there is no age bar.
  • Minimum education:
    • 10+2 class passed or its equivalent preferably with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects with aggregate of 45% marks.
    • Those who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM course (revised after 2001) from the School recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
    • ANM training i.e. 10+1 years training should also have passed +2 or its equivalent examination.
  • Admission of students shall be once in a year.
  • Students shall be medically fit.
DURATION OF THE COURSE

The Diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery shall be of three years and six months duration.

Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) Nursing

Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery in Nursing is a two year undergraduate certificate-level course in Medical Nursing. The duration of the course is 2 academic years. Minimum Eligibility to ANM Course is 10+2 level of education with minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
